Governing Board

Kisian Rangers Football Club (KRFC) has developed a flexible organizational structure. There are 12 Members of the Management Board and over 25 volunteers allocated to the different programmes and projects. KRFC utilises sports and games in reaching out to vulnerable groups in the community. KRFC links sports with environmental cleanup activities, AIDS control and prevention campaigns, leadership training and other community service activities, especially in urban and peri-urban Kisumu. Already, over 400 youths are involved in various activities. KRFC operates a League System in collaboration with Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Kisumu North Branch and Sub – Branch, which runs league matches across the County. Kisian Rangers FC in 2011-2012 won the District League and has since then been promoted to the COUNTY LEAGUE previously called “PROVINCIAL LEAGUE” KRFC runs teams for girls and boys (age 8 to 20 years). The management of the sports teams comprise of elected officials, who also act as team leaders, coaches or referees. These activities are directed towards improvement of lifestyles as well as changing standards of living in the community. KRFC also endeavors to support community initiatives in providing for the needs of the youths and children in poor families. Kisian Rangers Football Club (KRFC) is spearheading an initiative that seeks to establish a Sports Complex to enhance her activities.
